Deadline for Quang Nam Club before being disbanded.

The Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) has issued an ultimatum to Quang Nam Club after receiving no response after sending two official letters.

On July 23rd, VPF sent another official letter to Quang Nam Club to reconfirm their registration for the 2025-2026 season. The deadline for Quang Nam Club to respond is 5 PM on July 23rd.

If, after this period, Quang Nam Club does not provide written confirmation of its registration, it will be considered officially withdrawn and will not participate in the 2025-2026 national professional football leagues.

The next step for VPF is to report to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to resolve the related issues.

On July 22nd, VPF sent official letter No. 257 to Quang Nam Club requesting a detailed report on information related to their participation in the 2025-2026 season, but received no response.

Quang Nam FC is appealing to the Da Nang People's Committee to help call on local businesses to join hands and contribute to sponsoring the team after Quang Nam merged with Da Nang on July 1st.

Due to the withdrawal of their former sponsor, Quang Nam FC is on the verge of dissolution. The team's players and staff will be merged intoSHB Da Nang FC. Their participation in the V-League remains uncertain ahead of the season.

Only now, 25 days before the opening day, has Quang Nam Club decided to discontinue the team. The players have been given the opportunity to leave and seek new opportunities.

Quang Nam FC also withdrew from the friendly tournament being held at Tam Ky Stadium, which they were co-organizing. This sudden withdrawal caught the organizers by surprise and they had to find a way to resolve the situation.

The fate of Quang Nam FC may be decided after 5 PM on July 23rd.
