Son Heung Min scores, South Korea struggles to draw with Jordan
The 2-2 draw with Jordan prevented South Korea from taking the top spot in Group E of the 2023 Asian Cup from the West Asian team. In fact, the equalizer for South Korea in this match was scored by Yazan Al-Arab of Jordan, after an own goal in the first minute of extra time in the second half.
After the match, South Korea coach Jurgen Klinsmann said: "We predicted that the match against Jordan would be very difficult and it turned out to be true. At the moment, the Korean team's place in the round of 16 is not yet guaranteed."

"After opening the score, we slowed down the pace of the game. This was not good for us. My players mostly lost in one-on-one situations," coach Klinsmann added.
Although the Korean team was disappointing in the recent match, coach Jurgen Klinsmann still thinks this is a good experience for the Korean team, because not every match is an absolute success.
Mr. Klinsmann said: "This is a match in which we learned a lot. The match just passed was a good experience for Korea."

"The important thing we learned from this match is that I got to see how the Korean players react when they are in an unfavorable situation. What I saw made me really satisfied," said the German coach who is leading the Korean team.
Also on the side of coach Jurgen Klinsmann, he denied that the fact that Korea has not won the Asian Cup for too long (the last time the Korean team won the Asian Cup was in 1960) made the players feel great pressure.
Coach Klinsmann's opinion was agreed by captain Son Heung Min. The Tottenham star said: "Pressure always comes, whether you play for a club or the national team. I love pressure and am always ready to deal with it."
