Dozens of wild animals were released into the forest.

On September 25, the Rescue, Conservation and Development Center of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park Management Board released dozens of wild animals back into the forest after completing the rescue work and having had enough quarantine time.

Accordingly, 27 wild animals were released into the natural environment, including: 8 pig-tailed macaques, 2 hornbills, 1 brown hawk, 1 python, 9 box turtles, 3 slow loris, 1 palm civet, 1 palm civet and 1 wild cat.

These are wild animals that people voluntarily surrendered to the authorities to be handed over to the Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of living creatures for care, nurturing, and rehabilitation before being released back into the natural environment. Among them, many species are on the list of endangered and rare wild animals.

The release of dozens of wild animals back into the forest by the Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of living creatures, Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park Management Board, has contributed to the restoration and maintenance of biodiversity in the forest ecosystem. At the same time, this is also a testament to the joint efforts to protect wild animals, raise public awareness about animal conservation, and protect a sustainable ecological environment for future generations.

Since the beginning of 2025, the center has received and rescued 20 wild animals; released 27 animals back into the natural environment; the rescue success rate is 95%. Currently, the Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of living creatures is caring for and rescuing 60 wild animals.
