On the afternoon of June 24, a series of large groups with millions of followers on the Facebook platform suddenly fell into a "suspended group" state.

Not only groups related to social life and entertainment information, groups with specific topics about technology, cooking... are also in the same situation.

Mr. D.VN - who has a fanpage with more than 85,000 followers and has been working in the technology field for many years - said: "I was very surprised when the channel was locked, followed by continuous notifications of limited access and monetization tools for personal pages, adding more restrictions to personal accounts and removing posts...".

Mr. Ngo Minh Hieu, administrator of several fanpages and groups on fraud prevention, also shared that a series of groups under his administration are currently named "Group title pending".

"I have contacted Meta (Facebook's parent company) for handling and support. It is currently unclear whether this is a technical error of the platform or a group exploiting tricks, errors... of the Facebook platform to report in bulk or not?", Mr. Hieu commented.

Meta has been experiencing issues with its social media service for some time now, sometimes slowing down the sending and receiving of messages. But there have been times when the issues have lasted for hours, seriously affecting users.

On February 27, Facebook crashed globally. The website interface suddenly turned to a blank screen, with only the Facebook logo and the message: "Sorry, something went wrong."
