A series of new cars are about to be launched - Vietnamese customers can "change their taste"
Domestic consumers are about to "change their taste" with a brand new B-class sedan, with a price expected to be more attractive than Vios, and Ford's first genuine electric SUV.

As the year comes to an end, the Vietnamese market becomes more and more exciting. In addition to maintaining endless promotional programs, car manufacturers continue to add new cars, increasing the choices for Vietnamese customers and stirring up the competitive atmosphere during the peak period at the end of the year. Some car models have been confirmed to be launched in the Vietnamese market this August and there are also quite a few models on the "reserve" list when the car company scheduled to launch in the third quarter of this year. If previously the list of new cars was mainly high-chassis cars, in the near future, Vietnamese customers will have access to some low-chassis cars and some pure electric SUVs officially sold for the first time in Vietnam.
Skoda Slavia makes Vios breathless It is highly likely that Skoda Slavia will be launched in Vietnam in August or early September. This B-class sedan will be one of the first two products of Skoda to be distributed as domestically assembled vehicles. The Skoda Slavia price list will have 4 versions including Active, Ambition, Style and Style (sunroof). In our opinion, Skoda Slavia will make many B-class sedans "breathless" when the expected price of this model is under 500 million VND. In fact, Skoda Slavia appeared with its "brother" Kushaq at the inauguration ceremony of the Viet Hung automobile factory ( Quang Ninh ) which took place at the end of March 2025. Leaked sources from the dealer show that the Skoda Slavia to be sold in Vietnam will only have 1 engine option, a 1.0L turbocharged gasoline engine, with a maximum capacity of 115 horsepower and 175Nm of torque, 6-speed gearbox. Mustang Mach-E: Ford's Official Electric SUV Ford Vietnam has announced the launch date of the all-electric Mustang Mach-E SUV on August 15 - the occasion of the American carmaker's 30th anniversary in Vietnam. The Ford Mustang Mach-E that will be officially sold is the Premium version.
Previously, Vietnamese customers had access to this model as a privately imported car and as the GT version. The Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium currently sold in the "home" market is equipped with an electric motor, producing 290 - 346 horsepower combined with an eAWD drive system. This version is also equipped with a 3kWh battery and comes with an optional 88kWh battery like the GT version. The Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium has a maximum range of 515 km per full charge with the 88kWh battery pack. In addition to the two models mentioned above, the Vietnamese auto market may soon welcome many new car models such as the Mitsubishi Xpander and Xpander Cross upgraded versions, and the Maserati Grecale Folgore. The pure electric vehicle and A-class multi-purpose vehicle segment has the new Suzuki Fronx, which is considered a competitor to Toyota Raize, Hyundai Venue, KIA Sonet and VinFast 's best-selling electric vehicle model, the VF5. In addition, the crossover segment saw the appearance of the Omoda C7. This is a model added by Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam to thicken the product portfolio of high-chassis vehicles in addition to the two main models that were introduced to customers early, the Jaecoo J7 (C-SUV) and Omoda C5 (B-SUV).
In addition to Omoda C7, it is likely that Omoda & Jaecoo will introduce the Jeacoo J6 model - the younger brother of J7 to the Vietnamese market around the end of 2025. Meanwhile, the first batch of Lynk & Co 08 cars has arrived in the country. Dealers have also received deposits from customers to buy Lynk & Co 08 cars. The launch date of Lynk & Co 08 was previously scheduled for July 2025 but has yet to come true. From now until the end of the year, the market will see the presence of the mid-life upgraded Kia Sorento. Currently, dealers are "short of stock", so it is likely that the Kia Sorento 2025 will be released soon, adding supply to the market.
