Thousands of students in Ho Chi Minh City excitedly enter the new school year

(Dan Tri) - On the morning of September 5, thousands of students in Ho Chi Minh City were excited at the opening ceremony of the new school year. This is the first school year to implement the 2018 General Education Program in all grades, from grade 1 to grade 12.

According to Dan Tri reporter, at Le Hong Phong High School (District 5, Ho Chi Minh City), about 2,000 students of the school were present early in ao dai and pure white uniforms, waiting for the opening ceremony of the new school year. Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee attended the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted (District 5).

Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen presented certificates of merit and wreaths to students who achieved high results in national exams and were directly admitted to universities.

The bright smiles of the students made the atmosphere of the first day of school more joyful and bustling. "This is our last year at school so we want to keep together the beautiful memories of our student life", Huu Khanh (12th grade student majoring in History - Geography) shared.
