On May 24th, Samsung Vietnam Complex, Samsung Electronics Vina, and the Vietnam Youth Achievement Organization conducted a roadshow to promote the "Solve for Tomorrow 2023" competition in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
“Solve for Tomorrow” is a competition for middle and high school students (with teacher guidance), encouraging them to proactively research and apply STEM education to solve local problems. With the desire to popularize STEM and further promote activities aimed at nurturing technological talent, this year, for the first time, Samsung is undertaking a roadshow, directly launching the program in multiple regions.
This year's Roadshow launching the competition in Da Nang is one of Samsung's efforts to join hands with Da Nang to further promote the STEM movement, while bringing the program closer to students and teachers from Central Vietnam. Mr. Kim Yong Sup, Deputy General Director in charge of external relations at Samsung Vietnam Complex, said that with a pioneering spirit and a desire to provide comprehensive knowledge access opportunities for junior and senior high school students, Samsung Vietnam plans to continuously expand both the breadth and depth of the "Solve for Tomorrow" competition. "We will strive to reach all students throughout Vietnam and organize beneficial and practical training activities for all of them," Mr. Kim Yong Sup emphasized.
According to Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, an estimated 140,000 students and teachers are expected to register to participate, double the number compared to 2022.
According to the plan, after Da Nang, the Roadshow series will conclude in Ho Chi Minh City in June 2023.
