Youth union members from various units presented gifts to students on the occasion of the new school year.
During the trip, the youth from the participating units presented 20 gifts (each worth 300,000 VND) to support students from disadvantaged families and those receiving social welfare benefits at the beginning of the new school year. In addition, a friendly football tournament between youth union teams was organized, creating a healthy playground and contributing to physical training and team spirit. The total cost for these activities exceeded 10 million VND.
A lively friendly football tournament was held with 4 teams competing.
Ms. Nguyen Kim Nhung, Secretary of the BIDV Ca Mau Youth Union, shared that these small gifts will somewhat further motivate the children to have a more fulfilling new school year. Receiving a school bag and school supplies, Kieu Huyen Trang (Xeo Duoc hamlet, Phu My commune) expressed her joy: “Hearing about the history of my hometown makes me very proud. I will try my best to study well to become a useful person and share these stories with my friends.”
The "Proud to be Vietnamese" journey awakens in cadres, union members, and young people a sense of pride in the glorious historical traditions of the nation, the Party, and the Youth Union; contributing to raising awareness and affirming the stature and historical significance of the August Revolution of 1945 and the birth of the country.
The journey to the historical site of the Xeo Duoc Provincial Party Committee Base continues to educate young people and children about patriotic traditions.
Secretary of the Youth Union of Party agencies in Ha Ngoc Thao province emphasized that through this trip to the historical site, each youth union member will further understand the hardships and sacrifices of their ancestors, thereby striving to improve their skills and political acumen, resolutely fighting against false and hostile narratives, and contributing their youthful energy to the development of their homeland.
