"There were five or six references to the plane crash in the script and it was really remarkable," he added. "It was something that felt bigger than myself and it was great to be able to serve those ideas."

1923 is a spin-off of the Yellowstone series on Paramount+. The series follows the Dutton family before the Yellowstone characters take over the Dutton Ranch. Harrison Ford plays the family rancher, while Helen Mirren plays his wife, Cara Dutton. Season 1 of 1923 is currently streaming on Paramount+.
