H'Hen Nie sings weakly, unevenly, and blandly in the MV Stop Eating Wild Animals - Contribute to Life
Recently, Miss H'Hen Nie "showed off" her singing and dancing voice with dancer Quang Dang in the MV Stop eating wild animals - Contribute to life .
The MV is part of a campaign launched by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF - Vietnam), and is also Hen's first music product after a "training and refining process" after "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves" 2023 .
Previously, in this game show, despite controversy over her singing voice, H'Hen still made it to the finals.
H'Hen Nie is the main singer
In the MV above, H'Hen Nie sings the lyrics clearly; but her voice is weak, out of tune, and her voice color is pale, nothing special.
Under the MV sharing post on the WWF - Vietnam fanpage, H'Hen Nie left a comment:
"Hen doesn't have a beautiful voice or dance well, but I hope the message will stay with everyone."
H'Hen Niê is a beauty queen who is hardworking and enthusiastic in participating in community activities, which is truly admirable.
And it is true that a community MV will be different in nature from an art MV.
However, if we escape the nature of a "community MV" to become an art MV (specifically music and images), will the social effect be more widespread? Or at least, the music part will be more convincing (within the limited budget)?
It can be seen that with her current voice, H'Hen is quite adventurous when participating in this MV as the main singer. She could have taken another position such as choreography, acting... instead of singing herself.
STOP EATING WILD ANIMAL MEAT, CONTRIBUTE TO THE GOOD OF LIFE
It is unclear whether the beauty born in 1992 intends to become a singer. If so, she probably needs to prepare more and more carefully. Avoid the situation where the audience says "if you don't sing well, please don't... sing well".
Of course, many people have an endless passion for singing. It's normal to sing badly but still sing. But for those who work in showbiz, singing badly, even disastrously, but still releasing songs, releasing MVs, still going to shows... is a different story.
Sing for fun?
Previously, when listening to a beauty queen sing live at some tea rooms and videos posted online, except for her fans, most of the audience also wanted to follow along.
Faced with criticism about her singing voice, the beauty queen once confided: "I never thought I sang to earn money or to be called a singer, I didn't need any title."
However, in the past few years, whenever a beauty queen participates in a program, the poster of that program always lists her "title" as "singer". So how should we understand this?
Not to mention in 2018, the beauty queen also shared that she would release a MV every month, many people were "scared to death" when the beauty did not do so.
Le Duong Bao Lam shocked the audience with the MV Oai Ca Chuong - MV screenshot
Or at the end of last year, Le Duong Bao Lam was criticized when he released the MV Oai Ca Chuong . Audiences complained "the lyrics are disastrous, nonsense, the singing is bad but the MV is so good".
Facing public backlash, Lam said he sang "just for fun" and "didn't perform anywhere."
Previously, Lam was criticized for his MV Sao hay ra de qua va or for parodying music from characters in the famous comic series Doraemon.
These types of products posted online all get a huge number of views, increase interaction and "brand" recognition, bring income... as well as benefits to the artist. So is singing "just for fun"?
In recent years, the situation of recklessly attracting views has not been rare. Previously, these types of products were only available to YouTubers and TikTokers, but now they have spread to the showbiz world, making the entertainment scene more chaotic and foggy, making it difficult to identify and recognize real value.
Even real artists get discouraged by this.
