Samsung's "One More Thing" moment at Unpacked 2025 was the Galaxy S25 Edge (formerly known as the Galaxy S25 Slim), a smartphone rumored to have an ultra-thin design.
Unfortunately, Samsung did not reveal any further information about the Galaxy S25 Edge on stage that day. The good news is that recently, information about the product's launch date has been revealed.
According to a new report citing an unnamed Samsung representative speaking at the Unpacked 2025 event, the Galaxy S25 Edge will officially launch "around April" this year.

This information is quite consistent with previous rumors that this super-thin smartphone will be launched no later than May. The biggest highlight of the Galaxy S25 Edge is its super-thin body, rumored to be 6.4mm but has not been officially confirmed. The representative of the Korean technology company only said that it is "about" 6mm thick.
Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be similar to the S25+ in terms of height and width, and will notably be the lightest model in the Galaxy S25 series. This is not surprising considering how thin the device is.
However, the Galaxy S25 Edge will only have two rear cameras and unsurprisingly, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip.
