According to the design consultant's plan, the area around Thien Quang Lake will consist of 13 functional zones. The multi-functional cultural and artistic zone will have a central square. In addition, the plan will design 4 more squares named after the 4 seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter around the lake.
Specifically, Spring and Summer Squares are where the main activities and events take place with open spaces to enjoy the panoramic view of Thien Quang Lake. Autumn Square has the function of entertainment and vibrant activities, and is the highlight of the Nguyen Du - Quang Trung intersection.
The rest of the Winter Square will host more "quiet" activities, as a transitional space between the lakeside space and the relic cluster of 3 pagodas: Thien Quang, Quang Hoa, Phap Hoa.
