On the morning of August 21, the Provincial People's Court held a first-instance criminal trial and sentenced defendant Nguyen Van Hoa (born in 1982, residing in Dray Sap commune, Krong Ana district) to 18 years in prison for raping a person under 16 years old. The victim was V. (born in 2009), Hoa's daughter.
According to the indictment, Hoa and his wife had three children together. In early 2020, his wife unfortunately passed away, leaving Hoa to raise three young children.

Two months after his wife passed away, Hoa's animalistic instincts arose and he raped V (Hoa's second daughter). By the end of 2021, Hoa had repeatedly forced and raped V three times.
The incident was later told to relatives. In early 2023, knowing that everything had been exposed, Hoa went to the police station to surrender.
