Although the selling price of Ri6 durian is only 35,000 VND/kg, his family can still make a profit of about 900 million VND. Mr. Be's garden has been granted a growing area code and achieved a 3-star OCOP certification.

According to Mr. Doan Duc Hoa, Director of Lien Duc Durian Cooperative (Xa Bang commune), the cooperative currently has 30 members and has been granted 4 durian growing area codes, with an area of ​​85 hectares and is exporting to China.

"The cooperative has always warned its members about the cadmium content affecting the quality of durian. The cooperative has also purchased a machine to measure the cadmium content in the gardens to detect early and handle it promptly," said Mr. Hoa.
