The exhibition brings together more than 50 works in various materials by artists such as Le Ba Dang, Diem Phung Thi, Duong Dinh Sang, Nguyen Hien, Dang Mau Tuu, Nguyen Duc Huy, Dang Thu An, Nguyen Thi Hoa, Hoang Thanh Phong, Nguyen Thi Hue, Do Van Lan, and others.
Depending on their style and technique, each artist conveys a unique message and emotion about the sacred feelings of loved ones in family stories. These could be joys, happiness, motherly love, fatherly love, or aspirations for life. Each viewer will have their own perception of the depth and uniqueness of each work.
According to Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai, Director of the Hue Fine Arts Museum, the exhibition aims to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day on June 28th. Ms. Trai believes the exhibition is likened to a comprehensive picture of an artistic "family" filled with love and emotion, conveying messages of affection to those we cherish. It is a spiritual heritage, transmitting the story and core values of family through generations, reminding each person of their roots and the bonds of kinship that each visual artist has embedded in their works.
"We want to convey the message that the family is where good cultural values are nurtured and passed down. Let's work together to spread the positive values of the Vietnamese family in today's society," Ms. Trai shared.
The exhibition is open until June 14th.
