Yamal helps Barca beat Espanyol.

One of the highlights of the match was Lamine Yamal scoring a beautiful goal and then getting Leandro Cabrera sent off. Cabrera was sent off in the 80th minute for foul play on Yamal, but coach Gonzalez claimed that the Barcelona striker had dived.

“Cabrera’s impact was not strong enough to cause any injury or damage,” the Espanyol coach said after the match. “It was not a rough tackle. I told Lamine to stop diving. That action was unnecessary.”

Before this controversial move, Yamal left a moment of brilliance when he finished dangerously to help Barcelona open the score in the 53rd minute. Against the Espanyol defense, the Spanish talent continued to show his annoying dribbling ability. He successfully dribbled 7 times, won 13 duels and created 2 scoring opportunities for his teammates.
