Coach Hoang Anh Tuan sets date to finalize list of 23 players for U23 Vietnam

Coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team will be stationed at Le Meriden Hotel, part of Marriott Bonvoy, a 5-star hotel chain in Doha used by AFC to serve the organizing committee members and the team participating in the AFC U23 Championship.

As the hotel is designated for the tournament, it has been calculated by AFC to be in a convenient location for the team to travel to the training ground as well as the competition field. Staying at the same hotel with the U23 Vietnam team is the U23 Kuwait team - the opponent in the same group with U23 Vietnam at the 2024 AFC U23 Championship.

Similar to the recent training session in Qatar, the VFF's advance team went to the hotel one day in advance to check-in and arrange accommodation for the players according to the coaching staff's proposal.

The menu of meals as requested by the team doctor and the team's schedule of activities at the hotel were also carefully worked out by the advance staff with the head chef and hotel manager to ensure favorable conditions for coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team. Head of delegation Nguyen Quoc Hoi was also present in Doha to accompany the team throughout the entire journey at the 2024 AFC U23 Championship.

As planned, on April 15, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan will make the final decision on the official list of 23 players participating in the 2024 AFC U23 Championship.
