(Dan Tri) - After parting ways with goalkeeping coach Lee Won Jae, coach Kim Sang Sik continued to say goodbye to three other assistants. They left the Vietnamese team to continue their studies in Korea.

Coach Kim Sang Sik's assistant team includes three students from Korea, namely language assistant Lee Seong Joo (translating between Korean and English) and two therapy assistants Choi Sung Rak and Yoo Seung Min.

They took advantage of their time off to go to Vietnam to work as assistants for coach Kim Sang Sik. This was considered a valuable experience for them before graduating. After the Lunar New Year, these three assistants returned to Korea to continue their studies.

Journalist Jo Sung Ryong of Sport-G revealed: "All three boys are excellent students in Korea. For different reasons, they are in Vietnam as assistants to coach Kim Sang Sik of the national team. They are the silent heroes of the Vietnamese team."

Earlier this year, interpreter Lee Seong Joo shared: "I have been working in Vietnam for half a year. After being accepted to work in Vietnam, I consider this a valuable experience. Previously, I worked as a player scout in Korea.

When I heard that the Vietnamese team was recruiting a language assistant, I was very excited. But I was only a university student so I thought it would be difficult for me to get selected. Luckily, I got this job during my school break. I knew I couldn't miss this job. Although the income in Vietnam is not too high, the experience I gained is much greater."

Meanwhile, two therapist assistants, Choi Sung Rak and Yoo Seung Min, were introduced by Professor Lee Seung Jae of Mokpo University. They had no hesitation in accepting the job in Vietnam.

Choi Sung Rak confided: "There are many students at my school who want to become coaches. Therefore, when Professor Lee Seung Jae introduced me to Vietnam, I saw this as a great opportunity and needed to seize it immediately."

Yoo Seung Min shared: "I am a sports major student. The management job is far from what we imagined. I don't know exactly what I will do. In the past, we have worked with young players. This is the first time I have worked with mature players.

I didn't know if I could do this job, especially when I didn't speak the same language as the players. At first, I had to observe and adjust to the players' expressions. Now, I communicate better.

The Vietnamese players gradually spoke Korean. We also learned Vietnamese. We had a good time together. The players wanted us to stay and put off returning to Korea. However, that was impossible."

It is known that Coach Kim Sang Sik has recruited a new language assistant. The new assistant translator between English and Korean has been in Vietnam since before Tet to take on this job.
