Ahead of the match against Man Utd, the Southeast Asian All-Stars have had a lot of changes. Many players such as Nicholas Mickelson (Thailand), Dominic Tan and Sergio Aguero (Malaysia) have withdrawn. In addition, Malaysia also sent a list of 5 replacement players for the Korean coach to choose from: Ahmad Khuzaimi Piee (Selangor FC), Declan Lambert (Kuala Lumpur City FC), Adib Abdul Raop (Penang FC), and Azam Azmi Murad (Terengganu FC).

Today, he reluctantly parted ways with Cambodian player Nieto Andres. The reason is that the Colombian striker received a red card in a friendly match against Aruba. Therefore, this player is suspended for the next friendly match. Cambodia was forced to bring in Ivorian striker Abdel Kader Coulibaly to replace him.

It is known that coach Kim Sang Sik was the one who requested the additional call-up of Abdel Kader Coulibaly. He needed a tall and healthy player in the attack.

Abdel Kader Coulibaly was born in 1993. This player started playing football in Cambodia in 2019 for Asia Euro United Club. Currently, the 32-year-old striker is playing for Angkor Tiger Club. The Ivorian-born striker was naturalized as a Cambodian last year and will debut in the 2024 AFF Cup.

As of now, Coach Kim Sang Sik has 16 members of the Southeast Asian All-Stars team to prepare for the match against Man Utd. There are two teams, the Philippines and Australia, that have yet to send any representatives to the team.

The match between the Southeast Asian All-Stars and Man Utd will take place on May 28 at Bukit Jalil Stadium (Malaysia).
