Anyway, the whole team will go there and fight with all their might," coach Polking shared with the media after the semi-final match at Hang Day Stadium on the evening of June 26.

CAHN defeated The Cong Viettel 3-1 in the semi-finals of the National Cup on the evening of June 26. In the final, CAHN will meet SLNA. The German coach wanted to hold the match at a neutral stadium to demonstrate fairness.

"We scored in the first half. In the second half, the team played more cautiously, not taking many risks, but The Cong Viettel did not create too many opportunities. The important thing is that we kept the score and achieved the goal of reaching the final," coach Polking assessed the semi-final match at Hang Day Stadium.

He affirmed that the victory was deserved for CAHN: "After 90 minutes, I believe that CAHN was the better team. We had many opportunities to finish the match, especially at the end of the second half."

The CAHN strategist assessed that every final match is difficult, but the club will prepare carefully both mentally and tactically. "Now the important thing is for the whole team to rest well, stay focused and try again. I am very confident that we will give our all and fight with all our might to win the title," he continued.

Regarding the squad, Dinh Bac returned after injury, Leo Artur completed his suspension. Coach Polking commented that the return of this duo helps CAHN's squad gain more depth. This helps CAHN confidently aim for the National Cup championship to complete its trophy collection.

“We hope this time everything will be successful. This is our second final of the season, so the whole team is very happy. But we need to stay calm. There is still one more game ahead, very difficult. We have to stay focused and try to achieve the set goal,” he concluded.

The 2024/25 National Cup final will take place on June 29 at SLNA's Vinh Stadium.
