During the album launch of singer Nguyen Ngoc Anh's Promise on the afternoon of October 16 in Hanoi , Ho Hoai Anh openly shared about his recent challenging and changing period.

Ngoc Anh said she asked Ho Hoai Anh to write songs for an album expressing the complete happiness she has. But the three songs written for Ngoc Anh still contain pain.

Ho Hoai Anh admits he cannot write pop music, especially now, songs "there is something more tormenting". Like the song 3 meters above the sky is written about the story of losses that make it impossible for people to reach heaven anymore.
"My songs are often a bit haunting, with emotional climaxes. I rarely feel happy during the writing process. I only have a few happy songs in Luu Huong Giang's album," Ho Hoai Anh said.

Recently, he had some quiet time to think, experience more, to realize what is really necessary for his life. Ho Hoai Anh chose to hide himself, spend more time writing music than before, and also reaped many achievements.
Ho Hoai Anh said that the past time has also been a time of great emotion for him when he received a lot of love from friends during difficult times. He will have another album by another singer at the end of the year and another album early next year.

Ho Hoai Anh said that Dong Sang Diep Mong was a difficult task when composing a song for two different voices and musical personalities. He likes this song because of its interesting combination.
