(GLO)- On the afternoon of May 24, the Gia Lai Provincial Red Cross Union in coordination with the People's Committee of Hoi Phu Ward (Pleiku City) visited, encouraged and presented 3 million VND in cash and 1 carton of milk to Pham Ngoc Toan (a student of class 10A1, Le Loi High School (Pleiku City), residing in Group 4, Hoi Phu Ward).
Toan has been an excellent student for many years. He has stage 3 kidney failure and his family is in extremely difficult circumstances.

It is known that Toan also has a younger sister, Pham Ngoc Thuy Duong (born in 2016), who also has stage 3 kidney failure. Every month, the family has to take the two siblings to dialysis in Ho Chi Minh City. Although the family is in difficult circumstances, Pham Ngoc Toan has excelled in his studies and has been an excellent student at school for many years.
The above amount is contributed monthly by officers and employees of the Provincial Red Cross Society through the Campaign "Each organization, each individual is associated with a humanitarian address" to support students in difficult circumstances, encouraging them to strive in life and study.
This is an activity of the Provincial Red Cross Union to practically welcome the 5th Provincial Civil Servants' Union Congress (term 2023-2028).
