Support connecting Da Nang with international resources

On August 12, the global organization of Vietnamese scientists and experts AVSE GLOBAL, led by Mr. Nguyen Duc Khuong, Chairman of AVSE Global, CEO of EMLV Business School and Director of International Development, De Vinci Higher Education, Republic of France, had a working session with the leaders of Da Nang city.

AVSE Global will connect, support, and connect international resources for Da Nang .

Comrade Nguyen Van Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Da Nang, chaired the reception.

Talking to the delegation of AVSE GLOBAL, comrade Nguyen Van Quang gave a general introduction about the city and the development orientation of Da Nang city in the following years. Da Nang is identified as the socio-economic center of the Central region of Vietnam .

Da Nang has many advantages and favorable conditions for development thanks to its strategic geographical location with high connectivity to provinces and cities in the country and the region; synchronously invested infrastructure; high-quality, young, abundant human resources in information technology and electronics at reasonable costs; a peaceful, highly appreciated living environment and a government that always accompanies and supports businesses.

By 2030, with a vision to 2045, Da Nang aims to become a large, ecological and smart city, a center for startups, innovation and a livable coastal city of Asian stature. High-tech industry is one of the three pillars of the city's socio-economic development, along with tourism and marine economy. Priority will be given to developing industries such as mechatronics, automation, precision mechanics, biotechnology and information technology.

The city prioritizes calling for investors specializing in the semiconductor industry supply chain, such as designing microchips, manufacturing materials, equipment, spare parts; providing testing and security solution services... Da Nang has been allowed by the National Assembly to apply outstanding preferential policies for strategic investors and strategic partners in the fields of semiconductor microchips, artificial intelligence, especially tax incentives, access to land, infrastructure, and human resource development policies.

Da Nang has also been permitted by the Government to pilot the establishment of a Free Trade Zone with policy mechanisms aimed at attracting investment, finance, trade, tourism and high-quality services. The Da Nang Free Trade Zone is expected to include a production area, logistics center, trade-service area and other types of functional areas according to legal regulations.

Coordinate with Da Nang city to research and organize specialized forums and events with the participation of prestigious experts to share, exchange and discuss the fields of semiconductor industry development, building free trade zones, building innovative startup ecosystems, promoting tourism and service development, etc.
