The Party Committee, government and mass organizations in Ky Anh district ( Ha Tinh ) are actively supporting working days and funds to help households quickly relocate, resettle and hand over land for the North-South expressway project.
Ky Anh District People's Union presented a support symbol of 3 million VND to the family of Mrs. Tran Thi Huong in Ky Phong commune.
The North-South Expressway project passes through 5 communes of Ky Anh district: Ky Phong, Ky Trung, Ky Tan, Ky Lac and Ky Van with 1,013 households affected, of which 820 households had their agricultural land affected; 123 households had part of their assets, houses, trees, graves affected; 70 households had to resettle.
To date, 820 households affected by agricultural land and 123 households affected by part of their assets, houses, trees, graves, etc. have received money and handed over the land. 54/70 households have agreed on the compensation and support plan; 66/70 households have received resettlement land (some households received resettlement land but have not received compensation); 26 households have relocated and handed over the land to the project.
Armed forces help people in Ky Phong commune to evacuate their homes.
In order to promptly share, help and encourage households with conditions to soon relocate and resettle to new residences, the Fatherland Front Committee of Ky Anh district launched a movement, calling on organizations, units, enterprises, cadres, civil servants, and soldiers of the armed forces in the whole district to actively support and help with funds and working days to help households relocate and resettle.
To date, 25 organizations and units have supported 66 million VND and 890 working days to relocate houses for 26 households.
Units and organizations support people of Ky Van commune to move their houses and belongings to resettlement areas.
“Currently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, organizations and units are continuing to coordinate with localities to propagate and mobilize households that have not yet received compensation to agree on a plan and hand over the site to the construction unit. Continue to arrange forces to support families who need to transport assets and build temporary houses for new residences...”, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ky Anh district, Nguyen The Anh, said.
