Australian beef production increased thanks to the market recovery after the import policy was adjusted, the demand for high-quality beef increased. On the other hand, the breeding process is strictly managed from the feed to the care of the cows.
Hoa Phat's Australian cattle breeding activities began in 2016 with three high-tech farms in Hung Yen, Quang Tri (formerly Quang Binh ) and Dong Nai. The farms span three regions with a breeding scale of tens of thousands of cows per litter, aiming to expand the total scale to 150,000 cows per year.
The farms apply the Australian ESCAS model, an international standard for animal welfare, throughout the process. Imported cows are fully vaccinated, sorted by weight and condition, have their nutritional rations designed, their health monitored daily and receive special care when needed. This process helps the cows reduce stress after transportation and quickly adapt to new farming conditions.
The beef breed is imported from reputable suppliers in Australia and Brazil. Strict control of input quality, combined with a scientific feeding regime, helps Hoa Phat beef have a bright red color, soft, uniform meat fibers and retain its natural flavor. The product meets domestic and international food safety standards.
The Australian beef market in Vietnam is currently highly competitive, especially under pressure from low-priced smuggled beef. However, Hoa Phat still maintains international livestock standards, fully restarts its farms and imports more beef to ensure a stable supply.
After nearly a decade of systematic investment, Hoa Phat has built a modern, closed Australian cattle breeding system, stably meeting domestic demand and contributing to improving the standards of the Vietnamese beef cattle breeding industry.
