Tet flowers arrive on the streets early.

Although there are still nearly two months until the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, many types of early-blooming Tet flowers are already appearing in flower shops and local markets in Hai Phong city.

Many people choose to display peach blossoms, wild plum blossoms, and apricot blossoms early before Tet.

According to a survey by reporters, many types of Tet flowers such as apricot blossoms, peach blossoms, and wild plum blossoms are being sold at prices ranging from 55,000 to 130,000 VND per bunch, an increase of about 10,000 to 20,000 VND per bunch compared to the same time last year.

According to some vendors, this year's late cold weather has caused wild peach and plum blossoms to bloom earlier than usual, so the flowers were brought to the market early to meet customer demand. The flowers are mainly imported from mountainous provinces in the North, such as Cao Bang , Lang Son, and Son La.

In recent years, the trend in displaying flowers during Tet (Lunar New Year) has changed. Instead of waiting until the actual Tet holiday, many people choose to display peach blossoms, wild plum blossoms, and apricot blossoms early, even a month before Tet, creating a fresh atmosphere for their homes while fully enjoying the beauty of the flowers in the final days of the year.
