Completed land measurement for 1,057 households in Dong Cuong

On the afternoon of August 25, the Van Yen Regional Land Registration Office Branch coordinated with Dong Cuong Commune to organize a summary of the Land Measurement Campaign for local people.

Accordingly, in just 15 working days, from August 5 to 20, 2025, the campaign completed measurements for 1,057 cases, reaching 105.7% of the plan.

The campaign was deployed on a commune-wide scale, including 26 villages, with the aim of accelerating the completion of land records, creating favorable conditions for people in managing and exercising land use rights.

Of the total completed cases, 321 households registered land for the first time, 140 households registered land use purpose change and 596 households registered land change.

Dong Cuong commune leaders rewarded individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the campaign.

The success of the campaign came from the close direction of the Lao Cai Provincial Land Registration Office, the decisive participation of the local government and especially the consensus and enthusiastic support from the people. The working groups worked with a high sense of responsibility, going to each village and each house to conduct measurements, ensuring that no conflicts or disputes arose.

However, the implementation process also encountered many difficulties: Dong Cuong commune was formed on the basis of merging 4 old communes, with mountainous terrain and inconvenient transportation; the commune did not have a general cadastral map; the workload was large while the implementation time was very urgent...

According to the plan, the measurement results will be completed, accepted and handed over to households by the Van Yen Regional Land Registration Office Branch before September 30, 2025. Notably, people will only have to pay the measurement costs after completing the procedures and receiving the Land Use Rights Certificate.

The campaign was launched and completed within 15 days.

The campaign not only addresses the urgent need for land records for the people but is also an important step forward in local land management, towards the early completion of the overall cadastral map for Dong Cuong commune in the near future.
