The measured rainfall was from 66.6mm to 91.6mm. Heavy rain caused 1 person to be swept away by flood while crossing the spillway in Ninh Hoa village, Son Thuy commune.

At around 6am on August 26, Ms. TTH, born in 1998, San Diu ethnic group, residing in Ninh Hoa village, Son Thuy commune, was swept away by floodwaters while crossing the spillway bridge on her way to work. Immediately after receiving the information, the People's Committee of Son Thuy commune mobilized the police and military forces to coordinate with the rescue force and the family to search for the victim.

Son Thuy Commune People's Committee assigned people to block off dangerous areas, not allowing vehicles and people to pass through, ensuring safety.
