Tan An commune leaders give 34.4 million VND to households affected by Thanh Tung commune market fire

On the morning of August 26, representatives of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan An commune, led by Party Secretary and People's Council Chairman Doan Truong Giang, presented 34.4 million VND to the leaders of Thanh Tung commune to promptly support households affected by the fire at the market in Cai Ngay hamlet, Thanh Tung commune, Ca Mau at noon on August 22.

Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Tan An commune Doan Truong Giang (right cover), Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan An commune Le Minh Thuy (left cover) presented money to the leaders of Thanh Tung commune.

According to information from the People's Committee of Thanh Tung commune, the fire on August 22 did not cause any casualties, but completely burned down 56 kiosks of many small traders, causing total damage of more than 20 billion VND.

Secretary of Tan An Commune Party Committee Doan Truong Giang directly shared with Thanh Tung Commune leaders and local people about the difficulties and losses and hoped that local people would soon overcome difficulties to stabilize production.

The above support amount was launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan An commune and received contributions from benefactors and businesses in the commune to support affected traders.
