During the summer, public service centers offer numerous skills classes and summer day camps with a variety of skills, talents, sports, and calligraphy classes. For children with special needs, many public service centers also provide one-on-one intervention classes in the mornings and afternoons to support the best possible educational development for these children.

The Chanh Hung Ward Public Service Center, located at 8 Duong Quang Dong Street, Chanh Hung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, is currently advertising and enrolling students for its 2026 summer skills and talent development course themed "Fun Experiences - Learning Great Things - Abundant Knowledge," starting on June 1st. The tuition fee is 2,400,000 VND per month (3 sessions per week). The fee does not include lunch and air conditioning costs if students eat and nap at the center (approximately 45,000 VND per student per day). This summer course accepts students aged 6 to 15.

Student attendance starts at 7:00 AM. From 7:30 AM to 11:15 AM, students will exercise and participate in sports such as basketball, self-defense, chess, or join dance classes, robot assembly, etc. From 11:15 AM to 2:00 PM is lunchtime and a break. In the afternoon, the children can participate in activities such as pickleball, baking, soccer, swimming, etc. Parents will pick up their children at 4:30 PM.

During this summer course, students will study from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, participating in various educational activities with foreign and Vietnamese teachers. This will help children confidently communicate in English in real-life situations; develop critical thinking (STEM, logic, creativity); improve teamwork and problem-solving skills; become familiar with modern technology and artificial intelligence (AI); and develop physically and mentally. Students will have access to a safe space for lunch and rest.

Specifically, parents can enroll their children for the full 6 weeks, or choose a week-by-week summer camp option, with different fees.

Many educational institutions also offer summer courses, which enhance activities that allow children to experience things outside the classroom.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Song Tra, Director of THedu (Hanh Thong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), said that the "Summer Journey 2026" day camp for students aged 6 to 15 includes academic subjects such as critical thinking math, handwriting practice, creative writing, and children's English communication with native English-speaking teachers. The program also includes skills training in debate, presentation, robotics programming, drawing, and outdoor experiences.

In addition, students participate in reading and planting trees during the summer course. Furthermore, for junior high school students, they also participate in enrichment courses in subjects such as mathematics, literature, and English.

The summer day camp program starts accepting students at 7:30 AM and returns them after 4:30 PM, with a cost of 700,000 VND per week (this fee does not include lunch).

If parents register for lunch for their children – provided by a third party – the price is 40,000 VND per meal per day. The center allows and encourages parents to prepare packed lunches for their children to bring. The center provides childcare support during lunchtime.

Parents can register for individual subjects or a complete package.
