Recognizing the unique nature of port logistics with its diverse job positions, the 2026 training course organized by Da Nang Port was systematic and scientific . A total of 251 trainees across all professional roles were divided into five classes. Grouping by labor force – from office staff and technical personnel to those directly involved in production on-site – ensured that the training content was focused, relevant, and practical for each job position. This not only facilitated easier learning but also optimized training time and effectiveness.
In the training sessions, experienced instructors imparted a comprehensive body of knowledge according to the standardized curriculum. However, the distinguishing feature of this year's training was its "practical" approach. Instead of dry theory, the lessons were built upon the specific circumstances of the departments and units under the Port. The instructors updated participants on the latest regulations and guidelines regarding occupational safety and health in the port and logistics sector. In particular, hypothetical scenarios and lessons learned from real-world production were discussed enthusiastically. Even the smallest shortcomings in the operation, maintenance, and use of safety equipment were addressed, along with specific recommendations and reminders, to help each employee become a "safety expert" in their own position.
Observations from the training sessions highlighted the importance of self-discipline and seriousness among the workers. The trainees strictly adhered to the training plan and schedule, demonstrating a high level of responsibility for their own safety and that of their colleagues.
Speaking about the training session, Mr. Nguyen Dang Song – Deputy General Director – affirmed: “ Regularly updating knowledge on occupational safety and health helps the workforce proactively identify and eliminate safety risks from the very beginning. Knowledge is not limited to the meeting room; after completing the course, each trainee will flexibly apply the learned knowledge to practice, which will be key to ensuring the safety of Da Nang Port in all aspects .”
The regular training on occupational safety and health once again affirms Da Nang Port's commitment to building a safe, modern, and reliable working environment.
