Quang Ninh district has 29 schools flooded 0.3-1.6m; many schools are isolated. Total damage to facilities and teaching equipment is more than 6.1 billion VND.

With the spirit of urgently "rebuilding" schools to welcome students, the day after the flood receded, schools mobilized human resources with the help of local authorities to quickly clean up and sanitize classrooms.

By the afternoon of November 3, schools affected by floods in Quang Binh had completed cleaning up and checking safety conditions to resume normal teaching and learning.

In order to proactively respond to the forecast of heavy rain in the next few days, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Binh has sent a document to its affiliated units; Departments of Education and Training, Centers for Vocational Education - Continuing Education, and educational institutions in the area.

Quang Binh Department of Education and Training requires educational institutions to closely monitor weather reports and flood warnings to promptly notify staff, teachers, employees, students and trainees to proactively prevent and avoid them.

Depending on the development of floods and actual conditions at the facility, principals, directors of affiliated units, Heads of the Department of Education and Training, directors of Vocational Education - Continuing Education Centers of districts, towns and cities proactively let students stay home from school and return to school when safety is ensured.

Units and educational institutions must assign people to be on duty 24/7, arrange sufficient forces to effectively implement flood prevention and control plans, promptly handle possible situations; deploy response work with the motto "4 on-site". Absolutely do not be subjective or negligent, be ready to deploy forces and means to participate in rescue and promptly handle possible situations.
