Attending the Conference were comrades: Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission ; Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council. Also attending were representatives of the Party, State, central departments, ministries, branches and representatives of the leaders of the Academy's institutes and local political schools.
According to the summary report, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics has achieved outstanding results in strongly innovating the content, programs and methods of training and fostering leaders and managers.
The Academy continues to maintain its position as the leading national center for research on political theory, effectively contributing to the process of building and planning the Party's policies and the State's laws. The Academy is a pioneer in protecting the Party's ideological and theoretical foundations, and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints.
Identifying 2025 as a special year, the whole country will hold party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress, bringing the country into a new era - the era of national growth, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics will promote the strength of solidarity, strengthen discipline, promote synchronous and comprehensive innovation, create breakthrough developments to successfully carry out tasks. The focus is to continue to promote the role of the center for training and fostering mid- and senior-level leaders, managers, and theoretical scientists of the Party and the political system; develop the Academy into a leading national center for scientific research on Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought, research and advice on the formulation of guidelines and policies of the Party and the State; a center for research on political science and administration with rich identity, modernity and integration, with prestige domestically and internationally; a core agency in advising on strategic policies for management and development.

Speaking at the Conference, comrade Tran Cam Tu noted that the Academy has carried out a number of key tasks: Well implementing the arrangement of the Academy's organizational structure according to Decision 214 of the Politburo; continuing to effectively organize the implementation of the Project of merging 4 agencies into the Academy according to the Politburo's policy. Synchronously developing regulations and operating rules of each affiliated unit. At the same time, ensuring good operating conditions for the Central Theoretical Council and merged units into the Academy; consulting, orienting, managing, chairing, and coordinating scientific activities of the Central Party agencies. Proactively and synchronously implementing all aspects of work to affirm the position, role, and importance of the leading national center in the training and fostering of mid-level and senior leaders and managers of the Party, State, and political system.
Training and fostering work must closely follow the Resolution of the National Congress of Delegates and the resolutions of the Central Committee, the direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat. Focus on training the political qualities, ideological stance, ethics, and working style of the staff, lecturers and students. Continue to affirm that the Academy is a national center for research on political theory, administrative science, state management, public administration, summarizing practices, developing theories, advising and providing policy advice to the Party and the State.
He suggested that the Academy promote digital transformation, practice Party school culture and improve the quality of material and technical facilities.
Comrade Tran Cam Tu emphasized that the Academy must be the leading unit in implementing and concretizing the tasks of Resolution No. 57 (dated December 22, 2024) of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation into research programs and projects that make practical and effective contributions to the country's development in the new era.
