The 2025 National Press Festival with the theme "Vietnamese Press - Loyalty, Creativity, Courage, Innovation for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland" will have the participation of delegations from Cuba and ASEAN countries.
That is the information provided by Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, at a press conference on June 16.
Accordingly, the National Press Festival 2025 will highlight the spirit of innovation, creativity, and comprehensive vision with many impressive exhibition activities, rich and practical professional activities, and unique cultural and artistic programs.
“This is not only a great festival for the press nationwide but also an opportunity for journalists to review the glorious and proud tradition; to honor the achievements, contributions and silent sacrifices of journalists throughout a century, from the first newspaper pages serving the revolution to modern multimedia press products contributing to the construction and development of the country today,” said Mr. Loi.
Ms. Le My Ai Linh, Acting Director of the Center for Journalism Culture, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the National Journalism Association 2025, said that this year, more than 80 central and local press units participated, with nearly 130 unique press exhibition booths of newspapers and magazines from popular to specialized, of major journalism training institutions, covering all aspects of economic, political , cultural, social, defense, security, and foreign affairs of the country.

Including special exhibition booths of some key press agencies such as Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam , Military Press, Public Security Press...
The highlight of the central exhibition space is the thematic exhibition "100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism: Achievements and trends in journalism development in the new era."
For the first time, a space to display the history of journalism was organized with profound and elaborate content at the Press Festival, hosted by the Vietnam Press Museum.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Science and Technology also held a ceremony to issue a special stamp set on the occasion of "Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day."
According to Ms. Le My Ai Linh, following the success of the first National Press Forum in 2024, this year the Vietnam Journalists Association continues to organize the second National Press Forum, including 12 discussion sessions, with many practical contents, related to the top concerns of the Vietnamese press.
With the participation of delegates, guests, experts who are leaders of press agencies, famous journalists, and prestigious international media experts. This will be a high-quality professional activity on a regional scale, a highlight in the series of activities celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press.

The 2025 National Press Festival will open at 9:00 a.m. on June 19. The closing ceremony will take place at 3:00 p.m. on June 21 at the National Convention Center (Pham Hung, Me Tri, Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi), and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam./.
