With this project, the District Association has focused on directing the implementation with many practical activities such as: organizing the annual Women's Entrepreneurship Day; supporting the improvement of the quality of women's groups of small traders, women's business clubs; connecting women's businesses to introduce products, promote trade through mass media channels; participating in product exhibitions; calling for investment; organizing seminars, etc.

During the period of 2017 - 2025, the association has supported 41 women to start businesses and start businesses through activities such as: introducing loans; supporting business registration procedures; registering trademarks; registering start-up products. Support in building and perfecting start-up ideas, guiding business skills, building brands... has "empowered" many members and women to be more proactive in the start-up movement, thereby creating many clean, safe products, associated with the characteristics of each locality.
A typical example is Ms. Tu Thi Hong Nhung, owner of a cake and jam production facility in Bung Buoi hamlet, Lieu Tu commune. With her passion, her own efforts, and the support and companionship of the Women's Union at all levels, she has successfully started a business with many cake and jam products, which are favored and trusted by many customers in and outside the locality. Ms. Hong Nhung shared: "In 2017, with the support of the District Women's Union, I built the Hong Nhung cake and jam brand, from which the products made are known to many people. In addition, the union also took me to participate in business start-up training courses and product exhibitions. From there, I have gained more knowledge to apply to production and business."
With creative approaches, the District Women's Union has built many practical models, suitable for each target and region, thereby creating opportunities for women to access and choose suitable economic development models to pursue, bringing a stable source of income for the family, promoting their own economic power. By the end of 2024, the district had 19 cooperative groups with 296 members and 66 professional and service women's groups with 917 members.
In Lam Do hamlet, Dai An 2 commune, plastic basket weaving has become familiar to many members and women. The District Women's Union has supported and established a plastic basket weaving group for local women to participate; at the same time, it has provided capital and coordinated to open vocational training classes for women to access new designs, meeting the requirements of orders. This job has helped many members and women earn an additional income of 1 - 2 million VND/month during the off-season. Ms. Thach Thi Sa Pho - Head of the Lam Do hamlet plastic basket weaving group, Dai An 2 commune, said: "The plastic basket weaving group has an average of about 10 women participating every day, at peak times when there are many orders, there are up to 15 women. After finishing the field work, the women gather to weave baskets according to orders, thereby earning additional income to cover daily expenses".
The President of the Women's Union of Tran De District - Huynh Nhu Y said: "In the coming time, the District Union will take advantage of loan capital from the District Social Policy Bank, the Provincial Poor Women Support Fund to help women have loan capital to develop start-up ideas. At the same time, coordinate with specialized sectors to open many training courses to guide technical support, online sales skills, 4.0 technology, and provide scientific and technical training for women to apply effectively. Coordinate with localities to establish models, women's business clubs, and women's groups of good producers and traders to help women develop their family economy."
After 8 years of implementing Project 939, the Women's Union of Tran De district has not only helped women access business opportunities but also enhanced women's economic power in many fields, contributing to improving material and spiritual life and creating positive changes, ensuring gender equality in the economic field for members and women.
