Ha Tinh Lawyers Association summarizes 2023 and deploys work for 2024

Attending the conference were leaders of the Ha Tinh Provincial Bar Association and representatives of branch leaders, prosecution agencies, and leaders of member associations in the area.

With the attention, leadership and direction of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, Party committees and local authorities at all levels, the Lawyers Association at all levels in the province has overcome difficulties, successfully completed the association's tasks and emulation movements in 2023.

The role and position of the Provincial Bar Association and its levels have been affirmed, creating trust with the Party Committee, government and people; demonstrated through the work of disseminating and educating the law, providing legal advice, providing legal aid, consulting on resolving complaints and mediation at the grassroots level, participating in supervising the implementation of the law... and performing well the political tasks at the locality, agency and unit.

The Provincial Bar Association and all levels of the association continue to study, thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party's guidelines, policies, laws of the State and local Party Committees and authorities. In particular, focusing on implementing documents of the Party, State, Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Ha Tinh province on the work of the Bar Association.

In addition, all levels of the association need to continue to promote studying and working according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in conjunction with implementing the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee, Session XII. Thoroughly educate cadres and members to actively participate in studying and studying the Resolution of the 13th Central Committee Conference in 2024 and the 6 ethical standards of members of the Vietnam Lawyers Association.

Regarding legal consultancy, legal aid, participation in consulting on resolving complaints, denunciations and mediation at the grassroots level, the Ha Tinh Provincial Bar Association continues to implement the direction of the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Bar Association on promoting legal consultancy and legal aid, linking legal aid with legal consultancy and dissemination and education of law.

Research and innovate the content and methods of operation, improve the quality and effectiveness of legal consultancy and legal aid work, ensuring compliance with functions and tasks, especially legal aid for the poor and policy beneficiaries.

At the same time, actively and proactively participate effectively in resolving complaints, denunciations and mediation at the grassroots level; participate in supervising law enforcement in a number of sectors and units organized by the National Assembly Delegation, People's Council and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels.

Actively and effectively participate in judicial reform activities, successfully fulfill the tasks as a member of the Provincial Judicial Reform Steering Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, focusing on legal science research, institution building, policy consulting, participating in monitoring and social criticism on issues related to the organization and operation of judicial agencies, judicial activities and judicial support.

Actively participate in administrative reform, focusing on scientific research and practical surveys, analyzing and evaluating the quality of public administrative services, the quality and effectiveness of administrative reform in state agencies and judicial agencies, thereby making recommendations, proposals and consulting with party committees and authorities at all levels on solutions to create progressive changes in this work.

On this occasion, the Ha Tinh Provincial Bar Association awarded certificates of merit from the Vietnam Bar Association and the Provincial Bar Association to individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements in the Association's activities and in disseminating and popularizing legal education, consulting and providing legal aid in 2023.
