Conference to meet businesses and investors in 2025

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien sent congratulations and deep gratitude to the business community and entrepreneurs in the province, wishing the business community and entrepreneurs to be increasingly prosperous; constantly affirming their brand and position in the market and always accompanying Quang Ngai province on the journey of sustainable development.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien said that after the merger, with a huge amount of work, and being significantly affected by fluctuations in the world and regional situation, with the spirit of solidarity and determination of the entire political system, along with the companionship, sharing and efforts to overcome difficulties of the business community and entrepreneurs, the socio-economic situation in the first 9 months of 2025 of Quang Ngai province has achieved many important results in all fields. The total product in the province (GRDP) in the first 9 months increased by 10.15%, ranking 1st out of 6 provinces and cities in the region and 5th out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide; the industrial production index increased by 10.22% over the same period; tourism has improved with more than 3.8 million visitors (up 17% over the same period); total social investment capital reached 62,554 billion VND, equal to 87.24% of the plan; The cultural and social fields, ensuring social security and welfare were promptly implemented, completing 9,071 houses (6,369 newly built, 2,702 repaired), reaching 100% of the plan, contributing to stabilizing housing and improving people's lives; the two-level local government apparatus after the merger has basically come into stable operation.

The Vice President acknowledged and appreciated the spirit of overcoming difficulties, the strong will and the positive contributions of the business community in accompanying the government in implementing socio -economic development goals, making an important contribution to increasing budget revenue, ensuring social security, maintaining national defense and security and improving people's lives.

At the same time, it is called on entrepreneurs and enterprises to proactively study carefully the socio-economic development orientations identified by the Party, the State and Quang Ngai province in the new period to build appropriate business development strategies and plans; strengthen innovation, digital transformation, and extensive cooperation, especially among enterprises in the province; continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, daring to think, daring to do, seizing opportunities, overcoming challenges, steadily rising up, developing sustainably, and contributing more and more to the overall development of the province and the whole country.

The province pledges to continue to pay attention and make efforts to build an open, transparent and friendly investment and business environment for the business community and investors, focusing on directing the effective implementation of administrative reforms; at the same time, paying attention to supporting and removing difficulties and obstacles so that businesses can feel secure in investing and expanding production and business.

At the Conference, representatives of units: Quang Ngai Provincial Business Association, Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, Company Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company, Kingmaker III (Vietnam) Footwear Company Limited presented some experiences in production and business, efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges, and accompany local authorities to successfully complete the goals and targets for socio-economic development of the province.
