With a high sense of responsibility and determination, An Giang province commits to continue to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO and specialized units to supplement, edit and complete the nomination dossier, ensuring that it fully, honestly and most prominently reflects the global value of the heritage.
At the same time, the province strengthens the work of preserving, embellishing and promoting the value of the Oc Eo - Ba The relic, associated with the development of cultural - ecological tourism, thereby making the heritage an important resource for the sustainable development of the locality and contributing to promoting the image of "An Giang - land of heritage, land of culture" to domestic and international friends.

Many opinions also mentioned the requirement of regional linkage and heritage management associated with local socio-economic development.

Concluding the conference, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong requested relevant units and the People's Committee of An Giang province to focus on reviewing and supplementing the dossier in a scientific, complete and unified manner, ensuring that it meets UNESCO's evaluation criteria to send to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism before December 10.

According to the plan, after completing the dossier, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will appraise and submit it to the Government for approval before sending it to UNESCO according to international procedures.
