Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee Pham Trong Hoang - Head of the Editorial Team assisting the Congress Document Subcommittee said, absorbing the opinions of Working Group No. 3 of the Politburo at the working session on August 19, 2025 and in the Notice of the Central Party Office, the Editorial Team coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board to propose adjustments and supplements to a number of key indicators.
In parallel with editing and completing the Draft Political Report, the Editorial Team reviewed, edited, supplemented and completed the Draft Review Report of the 19th Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Draft Resolution of the Congress and the Draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 20th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress to ensure consistency and unity.

The Provincial Party Executive Committee also gave opinions and agreed on the contents of the congress preparation; congress program; draft review report, draft action program and draft resolution to be submitted to the congress.
The 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, is scheduled to be held from October 1-3, 2025 at the Provincial Labor Culture House, Thanh Vinh Ward.

Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung agreed on a number of contents. In particular, the theme of the Congress was "Building a clean and strong Party organization and political system; comprehensive innovation, breakthrough development, striving to turn Nghe An into a fairly developed province, a national growth pole in the new era of development". The congress' motto was agreed on: "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Breakthrough - Development". The capacity, structure and content of the Political Report were agreed on. The assessment of the implementation results of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress; viewpoints, goals and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term was basically agreed.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, regarding the general goal, the goal of becoming the center of the North Central region in terms of "tourism" was added by 2030. The 39 main targets were compiled into an appendix attached to the Political Report; noting that the GRDP per capita target by 2030 would reach about 165 - 190 million VND (equivalent to 6,500 - 7,500 USD); the export turnover target by 2030 would reach 9 billion USD; the human development index (HDI) target would be 0.78%; the forest cover would be 58%...
Regarding tasks and solutions, it is necessary to update new resolutions of the Central Committee such as Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development; Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW dated September 9, 2025 of the Politburo on a number of breakthrough solutions, strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health; adding the formation of coordination mechanisms, developing urban, sub-regional and inter-commune systems.
