The summary report stated that the Independence Day Program and the Cultural and Sports Festival of ethnic groups in Than Uyen commune, held from August 30 to September 2, 2025, were a great success, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects; completing the proposed contents, attracting attention, leaving an impression on the people and tourists.

From August 30 to September 2, 2025, the total number of tourists reached over 65,000, of which nearly 4,300 were overnight visitors. Some places had an increase in the number of tourists compared to the event on September 2, 2024 such as: Khoen On Night Market, Muong Kim Market. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 25,126 million VND. Activities within the framework of the event were organized solemnly, rich in humanity, exploiting the cultural identity of ethnic groups. During the events, security, order, and environmental sanitation were ensured, and reception work was carried out thoughtfully with a spirit of hospitality.
