In practical response to the Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health, on the afternoon of May 25th, at the Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant in My Loc commune (Thai Thuy district), the Thai Binh 2 Oil and Gas Power Project Management Board, in coordination with the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police, organized the 2023 Fire Prevention and Fighting Sports Competition.

The athletes, who are the unit's on-site fire fighting force, competed in the 4x100m relay race with fire fighting obstacles and participated in organizing a fire fighting drill in the HFO oil storage tank area at the factory.
The fire fighting force of Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant conducted a fire fighting drill at the facility.
At the competition, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department organized propaganda, training, and professional development in fire prevention and rescue for officers, employees, and the on-site fire fighting team. They practiced fire fighting and rescue plans such as: inspecting, maintaining, and servicing existing fire fighting equipment; operating on-site fire fighting equipment; deploying fire fighting and search and rescue formations; performing rescue skills, methods of searching for and moving victims, methods of rescuing people in different spaces; and self-escape skills in various situations...
The organizing committee presented awards to the athletes who participated in the sports event.
The sports competition is an activity to promote training, improve technical skills and awareness of the responsibilities and duties of cadres and employees in operating and using equipment, ensuring fire safety and rescue, and at the same time build and strengthen the grassroots fire fighting force in the future.
