( Bqp.vn ) – On the morning of October 11, in Hanoi, the Military Science and Technology Institute and the University of Industrial Technology (Thai Nguyen University) chaired and coordinated with the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and the Military Technical Academy to organize the National Conference on “Application of high technology into practice” in 2024. Major General, Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Director of the Military Science and Technology Institute and Dr. Do Trung Hai, Rector of the University of Industrial Technology co-chaired the conference.

Speaking at the workshop, Major General, Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien emphasized that the 2024 National Workshop on "Application of High Technology into Practice" is an opportunity for scientists, lecturers, researchers, and postgraduates to discuss new research results and new research trends at home and abroad. From there, there will be recognition and assessment of the scientific research orientation of agencies and units and adjustments in research orientation and research methods to increasingly follow reality. Major General, Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien affirmed that the research results reported at the workshop are a valuable source of information to help the Military Science and Technology Institute and units orient research and new solutions on science and technology to carry out assigned tasks, especially in the context of promoting the implementation of Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW on science and technology development, serving the cause of industrialization and modernization in the context of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration.

The workshop was conducted in 5 main research directions and fields, including: Control engineering - automation; electronics - physics - measurement; chemistry - biology - environment; mechanics - dynamic mechanics and mathematics - information technology. The workshop had the participation of more than 400 scientists , researchers, and graduate students with 116 reports on new, highly scientific research, originating from practical needs and the research results were all applied in real life. This is a large scientific forum, a place for academic exchange between experts, scientists, and researchers. Thereby, further strengthening the relationship and cooperation between the Military Science and Technology Institute and research facilities, academies, and schools inside and outside the Army.
The presentations at the workshop conveyed the research results of individuals and research groups to readers; presented new research solutions, creativity and sharp scientific arguments; and convincingly explained the questions raised at the workshop. The reporters presented the maximum research results, made profound contributions with accurate conclusions and recommendations, and clarified scientific and practical values.
