Thai Nguyen: Carefully prepare for the provincial Mid-Autumn Festival program

Comrade Bui Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Mid-Autumn Festival program in Thai Nguyen province in 2025, gave a speech at the meeting.

According to the plan, the program will take place in 2 days, October 3 and 4 (ie August 12 and 13 of the lunar calendar) in three areas: Vo Nguyen Giap Square and some streets in Phan Dinh Phung ward; Van Xuan Square and streets in Van Xuan ward; Song Cau walking street area, Bac Kan ward.

The highlight at Vo Nguyen Giap Square is the Mid-Autumn Festival "Lanterns light up dreams" organized by the Central Youth Union, connecting online with points in Lao Cai, Ha Tinh, Gia Lai, Tay Ninh and An Giang . Along with that, the province organizes many rich activities such as: Mid-Autumn Lantern Procession Competition, Beautiful Mid-Autumn Festival Tray Competition, online Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Model Competition on the Provincial Electronic Information Portal Fanpage, along with vibrant cultural and artistic programs, creating a joyful and attractive atmosphere for children and people.

At the meeting, representatives of departments, branches, localities and members of the Organizing Committee reported on the progress of implementing the preparation contents.

Accordingly, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as the standing agency, coordinates the preparation of the program and develops a plan to visit and give gifts to children. Localities where the program takes place proactively create detailed scenarios, arrange volunteers to participate in supporting, decorating the space, urban beautification, and ensuring the aesthetics of the organizing area.

Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Central Youth Union to urgently prepare content, mobilize forces to participate in art performances, parades, creating a spread and connection between the Central and local levels. Provincial Newspapers, Radio and Television deployed propaganda work on newspapers, television, social networks, and organized live livestreams at all 3 points.

The Provincial Police and the Provincial Military Command developed a plan to ensure security and safety during the event. The Department of Health arranged medical personnel and equipment, ensured food hygiene and safety, and prevented and controlled epidemics. Thai Nguyen Electricity developed a plan to provide stable electricity...

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Luong emphasized: This is the first provincial-level Mid-Autumn Festival program held in Thai Nguyen, demonstrating the care and concern of the Party Committee, government and social community for children.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the members of the Organizing Committee to promote their responsibilities, coordinate smoothly, complete the detailed script, ensure security, safety and logistics conditions. In particular, propaganda work needs to be promoted so that all people can participate and respond, contributing to creating a complete, joyful and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival for children in the whole province.
