During the 2 days of November 13 and 14, students attending the training course were exposed to many practical topics such as: "Multi-platform and Gen AI"; "What does AI support for local journalism"; "Application of large language models (LLMs) in news production"; "Skills to create chatbots and virtual voices"; " Video and infographic production using AI". The course spent a lot of time guiding students to practice directly according to each specific content and skills. Each student created their own website or application, designed videos, podcasts, images using AI tools and completed group assignments according to specific topics.

Students are equipped with skills to apply AI to work.

According to journalist Doan Minh Long - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Journalists Association, AI is profoundly changing the way of doing journalism. Journalists today not only need to think about content but also have to master technology - from writing articles, editing videos, designing graphics to managing multi-platform media channels. The training course helps local journalists have access to new technology, thereby effectively applying it to propaganda activities and digital transformation in the field of journalism.

The training course will close on the afternoon of November 14, after the groups present their AI application products - proof that artificial intelligence is gradually becoming a powerful "creative assistant" for journalists in the 4.0 era.
