Kinhtedothi - The 9th extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly opened this morning (February 12) and is expected to close on February 19 in the form of a concentrated meeting at the National Assembly House.
At the 9th Extraordinary Session, the National Assembly will consider and decide on many important issues related to organizational and apparatus arrangement.
In particular, regarding the work of institutional building, the National Assembly will consider and approve the following draft laws: Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly; Law on Organization of the Government (amended); Law on Organization of Local Government (amended); Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (amended). At the same time, consider and approve the Resolution of the National Assembly regulating the handling of a number of issues related to the arrangement of the state apparatus; Resolution of the National Assembly on the organization of National Assembly agencies; Resolution of the National Assembly on the number of members of the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly (amended); Resolution of the National Assembly on the organizational structure of the Government for the term of the 15th National Assembly (amended); Resolution of the National Assembly on the number of members of the Government for the term of the 15th National Assembly (amended).
The National Assembly also considered and decided on personnel work within its authority. It considered the Submission on the Supplementary Project on Socio -Economic Development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more.
At the Session, National Assembly deputies will also consider and decide on other important contents such as: Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of policies to remove obstacles in science, technology and innovation activities; Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific and special mechanisms and policies to develop the urban railway network system in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; Investment policy for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction investment project; Special mechanisms and policies for investment in the construction of the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project; Investment plan to supplement charter capital for the 2024-2026 period of the parent company - Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC); A number of urgent mechanisms and solutions needed to implement the Project to renovate, repair, upgrade and build a new office building of the President's office at 2 Le Thach, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
The National Assembly Standing Committee sent a report to the National Assembly on the dismissal of Mr. Duong Van An, a member of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Phuc province, from his duties as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly.
