Today (May 27), the National Assembly discussed amendments and supplements to the Law on People's Public Security.

(HNMO) - Today (May 27), continuing the fifth session, the Government will submit to the National Assembly a draft law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on People's Public Security.

In the morning, Politburo member, General - Minister of Public Security To Lam, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented a report on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on People's Public Security and a report on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens and the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam. Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security Le Tan Toi presented a review report.

After the Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong presented the report, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the proposed National Assembly Supervision Program for 2024.

In the afternoon, the National Assembly discussed in groups the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on People's Public Security and the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens and the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam.
