Sharing at the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Nguyen Phuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, excitedly affirmed that the organization of the Cashless Festival 2025 was very successful.

Mr. Phuong said: "Two days before the opening, we couldn't sleep because we were worried about the weather affecting such a large outdoor stage, so many worries."

Speaking at the closing ceremony, journalist Tran Xuan Toan - deputy editor-in-chief of Tuoi Tre newspaper, head of the organizing committee of the Cashless Day 2025 program - expressed his emotion at the strong reception of the people, especially young people, for the series of activities within the framework of this year's event.

With the theme "Cashless Payment: Driving Force for Digital Economy ", the 2025 event series has truly touched the needs and general development trends of society.
Not only are these activities about experiencing financial technology, the programs also create a modern consumer space, where digital payment methods are integrated into all daily activities, from dining, shopping to entertainment, travel, etc.

"We clearly feel that the "cashless" spirit is no longer a topic of the banking and finance industry alone, but has become an annual festival that people look forward to, contributing practically to promoting the digital economy," Mr. Toan emphasized.

More than 120,000 people participate in the Cashless Festival 2025
The 2025 Cashless Festival attracted more than 120,000 people to participate in experiential activities. In particular, the large-scale E-concert attracted more than 10,000 audiences to enjoy the captivating and passionate melodies of famous young singers.
Before the end of the 2025 Cashless Festival, the organizers measured more than 80,000 direct interactions (summed from booths), more than 2 million online interactions, and more than 35,000 gifts given out.
The total number of new customers and new account registrations of the units reached over 20,000 newly opened accounts. The program received support from more than 500 festival-related articles from media units.
Notably, the large-scale online sales session - Mega Livestream organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper in collaboration with the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade), TikTok Shop and E2E e-commerce channel recorded positive results.
In just 8 livestream sessions within the framework of the Cashless Day event, the series of activities has contributed to promoting digital transformation at traditional markets. The series of videos with the hashtags #ngaykhongtienmat, #tieuthuongvietnam has reached more than 1 million views, with a total of nearly 4,000 orders sold.
In addition, the official fanpage of Cashless Day also witnessed significant growth in the past 30 days, with nearly 7,600 new followers and a 92% increase in post interactions, reaching more than 9,000 interactions.
Exciting series of activities for Cashless Day 2025
Cashless Day 2025 with the theme “Cashless payment promotes digital economy”. The series of events is held in the final year of implementing the project to develop cashless payment for the period 2021-2025 according to the Prime Minister's decision.
The program is organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper, Payment Department, Banking Times in coordination with Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, National Payment Joint Stock Company (Napas) with the support of VPBank, HDBank, Mastercard, Visa, Sacombank, Vietcombank, ACB, BIDV, Vikki, JCB, MoMo, Saigon Co.op,

The program aims to raise social awareness, encourage people to access and use modern payment methods such as e-wallets, QR codes, contactless cards, etc., and contribute to building a sustainable cashless ecosystem in Vietnam.
One of the highlights of this year's event series is the "Ting Ting Day" festival, taking place from 7:30 a.m. on June 14 to 9 p.m. on June 15 at Nguyen Hue walking street, offering a series of experiences on payment technology, mini games, workshops on spending management, modern lifestyle, etc.
In particular, a highly anticipated activity is the E-concert with a star-studded lineup and two large promotional programs including a nationwide promotion program and a Shopping Season promotion program in Ho Chi Minh City.
Within the framework of the program, there was also a workshop on “Cashless Payment: Driving Force for Digital Economic Growth” with the participation of nearly 300 delegates.
