Review of land areas without forests
One of the key priorities set by the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee is to review all non-forested land areas in the province. According to the 2025 forest status report, the province currently has approximately 189,000 hectares of non-forested land.
The review is required to be linked to improving the efficiency of forest land management and utilization, implementing sustainable forest management, and improving livelihoods for people in forest management units.
Simultaneously, the Department of Agriculture and Environment was tasked with researching and advising the Provincial People's Committee on the development of a comprehensive plan to increase forest cover and improve the efficiency of forest land management and utilization in the province.
