More than 300 people participated in reinforcing the New Bridge dike in Bim Son

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the evening of July 22, the Defense Command of Region II - Ha Trung coordinated with Brigade 368 and the People's Armed Forces of Quang Trung Ward to reinforce the Tam Diep River dike (near the New Bridge), Bim Son town (old) now Quang Trung Ward, in the face of the risk of landslides due to prolonged heavy rain.

The total number of participants was more than 300 people, urgently reinforcing 200 meters of dike, earth and rock embankment, and planting bamboo piles to prevent landslides to protect the safety of residential areas and traffic infrastructure.

The activity demonstrates the spirit of responsibility and solidarity between the army and people, contributing to maintaining the local defense posture.
