This tournament is not only an opportunity for young martial artists to demonstrate their talents and training efforts, but also contributes to spreading the martial spirit, discipline and identity of Vietnamese martial arts. The tournament also aims to celebrate the 87th anniversary of the founding of Vovinam – Viet Vo Dao.
Young athletes will compete for 78 sets of medals.
Vovinam is currently the most widespread Vietnamese martial art, with more than 2 million students in more than 70 countries and territories. It is taught in many schools in the country, contributing to promoting the quintessence of national martial arts.
Notably, this is the last national tournament of some localities before the merger, making the matches more exciting as athletes strive to compete to make their mark in the old unit's colors.
